KW Glam brings on-site wedding hair and makeup to Southern Maine; York, Cape Neddick, Kittery, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, Wells, and the coastline between. We’re based just over the bridge in downtown Portsmouth, close enough that Maine coast weddings are a regular part of our season rather than a special trip. Our award-winning artists create modern bridal hair and both natural and full-glam makeup, traditional or airbrush, with flat all-inclusive pricing that folds in your services, bridal previews (trials), gratuity, and fees. We come to your venue, set up early, and hand you a calm morning.

Wedding Hair & Makeup for Southern Maine Brides

A wedding ceremony taking place outdoors by the water, with two women, one in a white suit and the other in a black outfit, exchanging vows under a wooden arch decorated with flowers. The bride is wearing a white wedding dress and veil, and the officiant is reading from a black folder. Guests are seated on either side of the aisle, and the sky is clear.

The Southern Maine Towns we Serve

We travel throughout York County and the Southern Maine coast Kittery, York, York Harbor, Cape Neddick, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and the Berwicks. We regularly style weddings at The Cliff House, Nonantum Resort, The Viewpoint Hotel, Union Bluff Hotel, Stage Neck Inn, Dockside Guest Quarters, Scotland Fields and more. Getting married somewhere not on this list? Ask, we’ve likely been there.

Built for a Coastal Wedding Day

A Maine coast wedding asks more of hair and makeup than an indoor one does. Ocean humidity, salt air, and a steady breeze off the water will find any weakness in a style; curls drop, shine breaks through, and a soft updo can come apart by cocktail hour. We build for that from the start: long-wearing natural makeup that resists humidity and holds through a warm afternoon, and hair prepped and set to survive a windy bluff without looking lacquered. You should be thinking about the ceremony, not about your hair.

Minutes from the Maine Line

Our home base at 59 Deer Street in Portsmouth sits right next to the Piscataqua and the Maine border, which makes the Southern Maine coast genuinely local for us, not a destination we visit once a summer. We know the drive to the Cliff House in Cape Neddick on a Saturday morning in August, we know which venues have a real getting-ready suite and which need us to build one out of a cottage bedroom, and we know how early to leave. That familiarity is the difference between a team that shows up and a team that shows up ready.

What we Create

Every look is built around you, never a template. On hair, that runs from soft waves and flowing down-dos to sculpted updos, braids, and elegant low styles. On makeup, natural and skin-first through full glam, applied traditionally or with airbrush. Your trial is where we settle it all — what suits your dress, your venue, and the weather you’re likely to get — so the wedding morning holds no surprises.

Do you travel into Southern Maine for weddings?

Yes. We travel on-site throughout Southern Maine; Cape Neddick, Kittery, York, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport and we do it often. Our Portsmouth location is minutes from the Maine line, so most of the Southern Maine coast is well within our standard service area.

Which Maine towns and venues do you cover?

We regularly work throughout York County and the Southern Maine coast, including Cape Neddick, Kittery, York, York Harbor, Cape Neddick, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport. We’re very familiar with The Cliff House, Nonantum Resort, The Viewpoint Hotel, Union Bluff Hotel, Stage Neck Inn, Dockside Guest Quarters, Scotland Fields and many more.

How do you keep hair and makeup lasting through a humid coastal wedding?

Ocean humidity and wind are two things that love to undo a wedding look, so we plan for them. Makeup application technique and professional grade products which resist humidity are some of the ways we approach. Specific prep for both hair and skin also set a foundation to survive an ocean breeze without looking stiff. We’ll talk through functional styles and environment conditions at your preview.
