Wedding Hair & Makeup for Portland, Maine

Greater Portland venues and towns we serve

We travel throughout greater Portland — the Portland peninsula and Old Port, South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, Falmouth, Yarmouth, and out to the islands of Casco Bay. We regularly style weddings at AC Hotel, US Customs House, Brick South, Inn on Peaks Island, Diamond Cove Inn, Beech Ridge Barn, Flanagan Farm, and The Westin Portland Harborview. If you’re marrying somewhere in the Portland area that isn’t on this list, just ask, chances are we’ve been there.

What we Create

Every look is built around you, never a template — whether you want something soft and romantic or a more editorial look to match a design-forward Portland celebration. On hair, that runs from waves and flowing down-dos to sculpted updos, braids, and elegant low styles. On makeup, natural and skin-first through full glam, applied traditionally or with long-wearing airbrush. Your trial is where we settle it all, so the wedding morning holds no surprises.

City Wedding on the Water

Portland is a rare kind of wedding city; a real working waterfront, brick and cobblestone in the Old Port, rooftop views over Casco Bay, and some of the best food anywhere, all of it walkable. It makes for weddings that feel designed rather than default, and for looks that photograph beautifully against harbor light and old brick. We love the energy of a Portland wedding morning: a downtown hotel suite, the whole party together, the city waking up outside the window, and a first look somewhere only Portland could offer.

From hotel suites to island ferries

A Portland wedding can start a dozen ways; a suite high up in a downtown hotel, a rooftop over the harbor, a club out on the Cape, or a venue that’s a ferry ride into Casco Bay and each has its own logistics. A city morning means parking, elevators, and getting a large party ready in a hotel room; an island morning means catching the right boat with time to spare. We plan for whichever yours is. Tell us where you’re getting ready and we’ll build the morning, and our arrival, around it.
